DIN white wood pellets

Customers at Enwood SP often ask us about DIN White pellets and if they are different from DINplus.

The truth is that DIN White and DINplus are the same quality. They are both of the highest premium standard for wood pellets used to heat homes.
The only difference you can see is the colour of the pellet, which can change naturally depending on the type of wood and the time of year it was made.

We have a separate page for DIN White (PREMIUM) on our website because many of our long-term customers prefer the lighter colour and look for it.

There is no separate scientific or industrial classification for “white pellets,” but the market has made the distinction.

Lighter colour is often thought to mean cleaner wood, smoother burning, and higher purity. While this can be true at times, the colour is not what matters most; the heat output and ash level are.

More and more customers have learnt this difference in the last two years.
And as demand keeps going up, it’s getting harder to get DIN White (PREMIUM) in large amounts, which is why it sells out before standard DINplus. As the pellet market grows every year, products with “visual premium appeal” naturally become more competitive.

But we want to be clear and honest:

DINplus stands for high-quality heating in the home.
When stored and used properly, both DIN White and standard DINplus work well with heat and leave little ash.

So remember when choosing pellets:
